Superwings in full 3D!

SUPERWINGS GETS THE FULL 3D TREATMENT

We were asked by our client to produce a 3.5 metre high Superwings toy replica – in only 3 weeks – for the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany to promote the range of Superwings characters to the trade and toy buying public. This impressive structure was located within one of the main entrances to the show which saw over 30 000 people per day viewing Superwings himself, providing a fantastic way to promote their brand.

From a toy replica, our creative team scanned and produced a workable 3D file which allowed us to mill the body structure from polystyrene blocks with our state-of-the-art machines, before our skilled inhouse sculptors hand-finished the detail within the character. He was brought fully to life with all paint and detail finish being added, creating every boys dream……

“The character is amazing, a real show stopper, with great attention to detail within a short timescale, well done guys.”

Santa comes to 3D life!

T.M Projects – ROYAL MAIL POSTBOX SANTA

Santa comes to (larger than) life in 3D!

Royal Mail installs its first-ever special Santa postbox! We designed and created this larger than life full 3D sculpted and painted Santa for T.M. Projects to help Royal Mail launch their ‘Letter to Santa’ campaign.

The initial brief from our client was to create a large, fun and jolly Santa Claus that would encapsulate the Christmas Spirit with a letter to Santa for children to be able to post, combining a fantastic focal point for the client to promote  #rmlettertoSanta within the Westfield’s Shopping Centre Stratford, London.

Our creative team worked closely with the client to deliver the feel and style that would produce the perfect look to the finished piece.

Concept 2D visuals were developed, with the team then creating a hand-sculpted clay model of Santa which we scanned utilising our in-house scanner facility.

Once scanned, the files were transferred through to our milling machine, which made light work of recreating the initial concept.

The raw material was taken by our talented Sculptures who produced some stunning work to complete a magnificent Santa adding fantastic paint detail, showcasing our 3D departments’ substantial talent.

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX!

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX FOR GAP!

Our creative solutions for GAP’s Shoreditch Box Park store provide an unusual urban retail space that just goes from strength to strength.

Gap approached us with visual ideas for a new concept for us to fully manufacture alongside the designing and production of a selection of new fixtures & fittings for their Box Park boutique store.

This exciting project came with a short lead time and required all elements to be designed, manufactured and installed over a two-week time frame, with stunning results.

All of the fixtures were produced from solid maple timber that consists of 5 x 8 metre walls of fixturing. The concept really did see a move away from the laid back, casual style to a more trendy east end look.

“This is the essence of good pop-up retailing”

PAN AMUSEMENTS

PAN AMUSEMENTS

Display Logic’s 3D Impact division was approached to aid in the design, development and creation of a complete suite of dressed and themed characters for their range of specifically commissioned shooting galleries for shipment into the Far East amusement parks.

Our skilled in-house sculptors produced a range of clay bust forms which allowed us to create a selection of moulds in order to produce individual latex heads. From this, the artistic and creative team delivered the finishing fine art detail to create some amazing results – from a selection of cowboys which we located into a timeless attraction of the Wild West, and pirates for Dead Man’s Cove, the Pirate Adventure.

The team’s creative skills didn’t stop there with the development of the Professor Coggins character, along with his monkey and other inventions.

“3D sculptures and displays make any amusement park or museum experience Agile, Accessible, and Distinct.”
