Materials


MDF

Medium-density fiberboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure. It is made up of separated fibers, (not wood veneers) but can be used as a building material similar in application to plywood. It is much more dense than normal particle board.

Foamex

Foamex is a light weight foam board with a polyurethane foam core and coated multi-layed paper liners. The excellent price performance ratio of foamex makes it ideal for a wide range of interior signage and screen printing applicationsFoamex offers excellent product characteristic, including:-

>  High heat resistance
>  Easy processing
>  Excellent cutting characteristics no crumbling of the core

Di-Bond

Is the original aluminium composite panel, comprising a UV resistance polyethylene core with two premium aluminium alloy surface layers. Di-Bond is a lightweight alternative to solid aluminium sheet. Di-Bond offers excellent physical characteristics, including:-

>  Very High resistance to weathering & corrosion
>  Excellent print substrate
>  Lightweight but very rigid
>  Fire resistant

Acrylic

Polycarbonate offers extreme impact strength. It combines a wide range of temperature resistance with high optical clarity and good fire behaviour. Available in different colours. It can be thermoformed and is easy to fabricate.
